Equifax Extends $1 VantageScore 4.0 Pricing to Boost Mortgage Access
Nearly 2,000 mortgage lenders are adopting VantageScore 4.0 as Equifax locks in $1 pricing through 2028 to expand homeownership access.
Equifax has announced that nearly 2,000 mortgage lenders and resellers are in the process of implementing VantageScore 4.0, an alternative data-driven credit scoring model, marking a significant acceleration in the mortgage industry's shift away from older scoring systems.

The company said the extended pricing is designed to encourage broader industry adoption, lower costs for lenders, and ultimately improve homeownership affordability for consumers who may be underserved by traditional credit models.
