Aetna Unveils 2027 Medicare Plans Focused on Low-Cost Care Access
Aetna's 2027 Medicare offerings emphasize $0 copays on key drugs, preventive screenings, and home health visits for enrolled members.
Aetna has announced its 2027 Medicare plan lineup, positioning the offerings around affordability and expanded access to routine and preventive care for eligible beneficiaries. The insurer is highlighting several zero-copay benefits designed to reduce out-of-pocket costs at the point of care.
Enrolled members would pay no copay for Tier 1 prescription drugs and covered vaccines when using in-network pharmacies, according to plan details released by Aetna. The company frames these provisions as a direct effort to improve medication adherence and immunization rates among its Medicare population.

On the preventive care side, the 2027 plans would cover annual physicals, colonoscopies, and mammograms at no cost when members visit in-network providers. Aetna says the intent is to lower financial barriers that often discourage Medicare beneficiaries from seeking routine screenings that can detect serious conditions early.
The plans also include a $0 copay for an annual Healthy Home Visit conducted by a licensed Signify Health clinician. Such home-based assessments have grown in prominence among Medicare Advantage insurers as a tool for identifying health risks in members who may have limited mobility or face other barriers to in-office care.
The full scope of plan availability, premium structures, and network details has not been disclosed in the initial announcement. Beneficiaries considering 2027 coverage options are encouraged to review plan specifics during the applicable enrollment period. Continue reading at All Financial Services & Investing.
